About the Design
Undoubtedly, travel is good for you. It can shake the foundations of everything you have constructed as the basis for your reality – there’s only so much you can understand about the world and the creatures on it through a screen. You need to get out the door, get lost, wet and dirty and if you find leaches well, all the better. There’s a story waiting for your character.
The inspiration for this character comes from the jungles of Sumatra, Indonesia. Some of these monkeys are trained by locals to climb and collect coconuts. Now, I’m not sure how much our furry friends get paid for this but I wondered if, when there’s a decent swell running, some of them knock off early and head to the coast. My real question was whether or not the bike and board was theirs…
Materials
We worked hard to source high-quality, ethical shirt stock - we want you to hang on to it. Our fabric has a soft, luxurious feel that comes from using high-quality, ring-spun combed cotton - 100% organic cotton and Fairwear certified - you’ll see it on the care label. And though we're realistic to understand that the supply chain ain't perfect this is a positive step in the right direction we hope you'll appreciate.
